Bring the assistant into your AI.

The assistant on this site also runs as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Add it once to Claude, ChatGPT, or any other MCP client, and ask about my work, projects, and experience without coming back here.

Claude

Web, desktop, and mobile. Available on every plan; the Free plan allows one custom connector.

1. Open Customize → Connectors.
2. Click +, then Add custom connector.
3. Name it “João Monteiro”, paste the server URL, and click Add.
4. In a chat, open the + menu, go to Connectors, and switch it on.

On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner first adds the connector in Organization settings → Connectors. Members then connect to it from their own Connectors page.

ChatGPT

Web only. Requires Developer mode, available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu.

1. Open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
2. Go to Plugins and click + to create an app.
3. Name it “João Monteiro”, paste the server URL, set authentication to No authentication, and create it.
4. In a chat, open the + menu, choose Developer mode, and select the app.

In Business workspaces, only admins can use Developer mode.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. The --scope user flag makes it available in every project.

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user joao-monteiro https://mcp.joaommonteiro.com

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to check that it shows as connected.

Cursor

Add the server to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json for a single one.

VS Code

Add the server to .vscode/mcp.json in a workspace, or run MCP: Open User Configuration from the Command Palette to add it everywhere. Then use it from Copilot Chat in agent mode.

Other clients

Any client that supports remote MCP servers works. Add a new server, choose the Streamable HTTP transport, and paste the server URL.
